Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 in Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter, and the sole son daughter of Richard McCormick. The mother of the child was home as a mother. Michael Dennis Kevin, her two brothers older. McCormick began dancing and singing from a young age, and would often perform plays with puppets for the children from her neighborhood. When she was just 6, McCormick won at the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley competition. Pat Domigan from the Jack Wormser Agency then called her to ask whether she was interested in a career in show business. McCormick's first big job was in 1964 when she appeared in a TV commercial for Mattels new doll Baby Pattaburp. McCormick also starred in a commercial in the year 1964 for Mattels Chatty Cathy toy and soon was cast as the main character in the play Wind It up and It Breaks, a play in the La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick won a 1969 audition from more than 1200 children to become the youngest of three twin daughters in The Brady Bunch TV program The Brady Bunch, starring Florence Henderson as a newlywed and Robert Reed. The run of five years for the show proved to be a huge success. McCormick's memoir Heres the Story, Surviving Marcia Brady: Finding My True Voice was published in 2008. She revealed in it the fact that McCormick almost lost her virginity while on stage of the show during the fifth season, when she was a victim to Barry Williams. She was 16 years old when she was in the scene; he was 19. This would have occurred according to her. The timing for our marriage was not right.
