Mrs. Rivas, a licensed and multilingual clinical social worker, who has worked in the non-profit sector for over 13 year's experience. She has dealt with diverse groups, including LGBTQ+, those dealing with issues related to substance abuse, victims of sexual assault as well as intimate partners violence. In 2019, Ms. Rivas provides services to Erie residents. She is now offering telehealth mental health services. Ms. Rivas works with women pre- and postpartum as part of the Perinatal Behavioral team. She is a specialist in trauma informed care, as well as EMDR services for adults. She also provides Group and individual therapy, Medication assisted therapy program, referral to specialty care, Women's support group. Amanda also volunteers at Best Friends Animal Society, helping animals in need find forever homes. Amanda is a strong supporter of the Best Friends motto, Save Them All, and would like to make Los Angeles turn into a "no kill" city.
